Taman Permata Hati

Taman Permata Hati was officially opened by the Governor of Ubud on 19 February 2007. The Orphan Day Centre is situated in the village of Nyuh Kuning nestled on the southern perimeter of Ubud in central Bali.

It is an educational day training centre established to nurture children who have suffered the loss of one or more parents.

The ultimate aim is to empower and equip these Balinese orphans for a better life both now and in the future whereby their dream of a full secondary education will become a reality.

The National Association for Children of Alcoholics (NACOA)

NACOA is a charity in the United Kingdom providing information and support for everyone affected by their parent's drinking through a free, confidential telephone and email helpline.

Nacoa (The National Association for Children of Alcoholics) was founded in 1990 to address the needs of children affected by a parent’s drinking or similar addictive problem.

This includes children of all ages, many of whose problems only become apparent in adulthood.
